Madame Ur y Sus Hombres

Ok, so I've photographed her a couple times, I've talked to her a few times, I had listened to her music, but never seen her perform live. What an amazing surprise. This is a band with lots of talent. I saw Madame Ur y Sus Hombres last Saturday night as part of the XV Anniversary celebration of El Lugar del Nopal in Tijuana. I think they played for a good hour and half, maybe more, the only thing I could say is that I didn't want them to stop playing. Hopefully I will see them again soon at a bigger venue, they deserve a bigger venue. Thank you Madame Ur for giving me access to take these photos and enjoy your music.

Sound Check

Sound check of Madame Ur y Sus Hombres last Saturday Night at El Lugar del Nopal, these images were shot just a couple hours before I was blown away by their performance.

Visited the world famous, world's biggest fish market, the Tsukiji Shijo in Tokyo last September, unfortunately we got late to view the tuna auctions but nonetheless got some pretty good action in the inner market. Here are some of the shots.

Dolce Salato

If you are planning to go to Tijuana and you are not in the mood for tacos or carnitas, try Dolce Salato, the best Deli in town. Dolce Salato also serves the finest desserts and pastries. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. I shot this last year for my friend Fernanda Flores, chef and owner of Dolce Salato.
